So, it was Erma's (aka David's) 19th birthday, and he decided to throw a party at his cousin's place while they weren't there. First unwise decision. But it was an awesome party, read the highlights (it's a long thing, just skim if you like) and see pics under the cut...

So, I started a fencing class today. We pretty much just learned the basics of the footwork and learned to use the foil. At one point we were doing a drill in pairs, and when they said go forward, the "leader" went forward, and the other went back. Well, I learned I am directionally-challenged, and at times messed up completely. I also got a little too excited with the swords; the "Zorro" moves, they say, shall be attempted later.
Anyway, I hurt now; the stance is somewhat uncomfortable and unnatural.
